EXECUTIVE NEWS

School Leaders

It was a great honour to present our 2022 Evatt primary School leaders with their badges at our senior Flying High Assembly last Friday morning. Last year our current year six students shared a video to all the students and staff at Evatt stating why they would make a great school leader. From here, our students voted for our school leaders for 2022. A big congratulations to the following students;

  • Georgia Bates - School Leader

  • Hannah Gerstenberg - School Leader

  • Bryony Conlan - Vice School Leader

  • Charli Wheatley - Vice School Leader

We look forward to having these students along with all of our year six students displaying great leadership throughout this year.

10c Containers - Outside Collection Bin

We have had some wonderful feedback from our community about the new resource management system that has been implemented throughout the school. Our students are working hard to embed the system that will be greatly appreciated by our environment over time.

We now have a purple ‘10c Container’ bin outside our library for the community to drop cans and bottles into. The money raised from these will go back into our school sustainability program.

Books Packs and Voluntary Contributions

A big thank you to the many families who have already paid for the 2022 backpacks and have put something towards this year's voluntary contribution payment.

If you have not had the chance to pay yet I encourage you to do so. Payment plans can be arranged if need be. These funds go a long way to support great resources for our students to access on a daily basis.

HVAC into the School Hall

Over the coming months the school will be receiving a brand new heating and cooling system that will be going into our hall. Many would agree that this is well overdue and a thank you to our school P&C and Board who have kept this on the improvement agenda for many years. Part of our hall will be out of action while these works are completed. There may be a minor adjustment to programs that run in the hall during this time.

P&C AGM

A big reminder about the P&C Annual General Meeting scheduled for 5.45pm Wednesday 30 March in “The Nest” at Evatt Primary School.

We would love to see lots of parents attend including our new families to Evatt Primary this year.
