Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

Evatt's P&C Association has contributed towards school improvements including a sand pit upgrade, new home readers, and speed bumps in the car park. They continue to support a safer and more engaging environment. Their input and support are an integral part of the Evatt school community.

The P&C Association makes a difference to how your child is educated and helps them enjoy their time at school.

Your P&C Association can only function effectively if you (the parents) actively participate by attending our P&C meetings and support their activities. All Parents and Carers of Evatt students are eligible to be a member of Evatt's P&C Association, so please consider attending our next P&C meeting and get involved in your child's education both at home and at school.

Check The Eagle newsletter for P&C meeting/activity dates or contact the school office.

Parking

Please do not block the emergency exit or the large trash hoppers. Parents are urged to exercise extreme caution in the car park and on Heydon Crescent, as these areas can become quite congested at drop off and pick up times.

Please obey the posted school zone speed limits around the school and at our school crossing zone.

Permission Notes

All permission notes for activities outside the school must be returned to the school signed by a parent/carer by the due date.  A reminder will be sent out on the school app, prior to the closing date. Students cannot attend an excursion or camp without a signed permission note.

Personal Belongings

Students should clearly mark their names on all personal belongings including clothing, hats and water bottles. Unclaimed items are sorted at the end of each term. Named items are returned to the owners and the remainder donated to charity. To avoid disappointment due to loss or damage we require all students to leave personal items and toys at home except by special arrangement.

Playground Supervision

Students are expected to remain within the school boundaries during recess and lunch play. Students should arrive at school as close to 9:00am as possible to ensure they are ready to start the day. Students are not permitted on the play equipment before school as there is no teacher on duty. If anyone requires assistance during this time, they should be directed to the front office. Teachers supervise each play area during recess and lunch times.

During wet weather, students are supervised in their classrooms by teaching staff.

Preschool Parents Association

The Preschool Parents Association works in conjunction with the P&C Association. For further information, please contact the Evatt P&C Association by leaving a message at the school office.
